From the period of May 2012 to May 2013, I will have spent more time outside of the US than in it.

It’s completely crazy.  I can’t believe I can even write that statement, but it’ll be true.

I just found out that I received an internship with World Vision.  I am so excited and am feeling overwhelmingly blessed.  I know many of you will have questions at this point.  I don’t know all the details yet.  I won’t know the location or dates for a couple of more weeks, but I will be either somewhere in Africa, Eastern Europe, or possibly the Middle East.  Yes, I’ll be safe where ever I am.  Yes,  I’ll be sure to let everyone know once I have been given all of the details.

Thank you for all of your prayers.  Most of you didn’t even know you were praying for this, but this internship is such a huge opportunity for me.  I will be working with an internationally respected organization, I will be honing skills I’ve learned in the classroom, and I’ll be with other people (and other Christians) who are just as passionate about helping people as I am.

I really need to be sleeping right now because it’s after midnight for me, but I’m just too excited.
